Acmeda S45 45mm Tube – Confirmed Motor Compatibility
You’ve identified your roller blind tube as Acmeda S45.
The S45 is a 45mm internal profile used in Light, Standard and Heavy Duty variants across residential installations.
If your blind uses an S45 tube, it can be motorised without replacing the tube. The motor replaces the chain mechanism using the correct S45 crown and drive system, and in most cases the existing brackets remain in place.
The motors listed below are confirmed to fit the S45 internal profile.
Not sure this is your tube?

Make sure your tube profile is identical to the S45 image before ordering.
How Do You Want to Power Your Blind?
S45 supports both rechargeable and 240V motor options.
Rechargeable motors are commonly used in residential retrofits.
240V hardwired motors are recommended for wider spans, heavier fabrics or higher daily use.
✔ Confirmed S45 Compatibility
🔧 Compatible Rechargeable Motors (S45)
These motors install directly into the S45 tube using the correct S45 drive configuration.
🔧 Compatible 240 Volt Motors (S45)
Hardwired motors are suited to higher daily usage or installations where fixed power is available.
🔧 Choosing the Right Torque for an S45 Tube
Torque selection depends on blind width, drop and fabric weight.
As width and fabric load increase, higher torque provides smoother lifting and improved long-term performance.
Increasing motor torque improves lifting strength but does not increase tube stiffness.
🧱 Bracket Compatibility
Most S45 blinds use RB09-style brackets designed for 45mm systems.
In standard retrofit situations, existing brackets remain compatible.
Bracket replacement is only required if the bracket does not support the motor head configuration.
