Do Automate Remotes and Wall Switches Need a Hub?

No. Automate handheld remotes and wall switches communicate directly with compatible ARC motors. You only need the Pulse Pro Hub if you want app control, scheduling, voice commands or smart-home integration.

Can Different Automate Controls Work Together?

Yes. The same ARC motor can be operated using compatible handheld remotes, wall switches and the Pulse Pro Hub. For example, you can keep a wall switch beside the blind, use a handheld remote from across the room and control the same motor through the Automate app.

Check Your Motor Before Ordering

These controls are designed for compatible Automate ARC motors. They will not directly control Somfy RTS, Somfy Zigbee or unrelated motor brands.
