How to Pair a Somfy RTS Remote to a Roller Blind Motor
Pairing a Somfy RTS remote depends on the motor’s current state. A brand-new uncommissioned motor follows a different path from a motor that already works with another handset.

Do not cycle power or reset the motor when a working RTS remote already exists. Add the new remote through the working remote.
Before pressing PROG
Confirm the motor and remote are both Somfy RTS.
Install a fresh battery and check the remote indicator.
Select the intended channel on a multi-channel remote.
Work on one motor at a time.
Keep the blind in view and clear of obstructions.
Scenario 1: Add a remote to a working motor
Select the correct individual channel on the working remote.
Hold the recessed PROG button on the working remote until the motor jogs.
Select the intended channel on the new remote.
Briefly press the new remote’s PROG button.
A second jog confirms that the new control has been recorded.
Test UP, MY/STOP and DOWN before changing any other settings.
If the original channel controls a group, every motor in that group may enter programming mode and be added to the new remote.

Apply power to only the intended motor.

If direction is reversed, hold MY until the motor jogs, then test again.
