How to Set and Adjust Limits on a Somfy RTS Roller Blind Motor
Upper and lower limits tell a Somfy motor where the roller blind must stop. Incorrect limits can leave fabric loose, drive the bottom rail too high or make the motor stop before the window is covered.

Before setting limits
Work on one motor at a time.
Select the correct individual remote channel.
Keep the blind in view and be ready to stop it.
Make sure the fabric rolls squarely and nothing is obstructing the blind.
Do not treat initial commissioning as a general reset.
Check and correct motor direction
Press UP and DOWN together until the uncommissioned motor jogs.
Press UP briefly.
If the blind moves up, continue.
If it moves down, hold MY until the motor jogs, then test UP again.
Set the initial upper and lower limits
Move the blind to the required upper position and fine-tune it carefully.
Press MY and DOWN together, then release when the blind starts moving down.
Press MY at the required lower position and fine-tune the lower limit.
Press MY and UP together, then release when the blind starts moving up.
Press MY to stop the blind.
Hold MY until the motor jogs to confirm the limits.
Briefly press the rear PROG button to record the transmitter and finish commissioning.

Adjusting an already-programmed motor
