Do all Somfy motors work with the same remotes?
No. RTS motors use Telis or Situo remotes. RS485 motors require a control system and don’t pair with RTS remotes.
Can I use a Somfy motor without a hub?
Yes. RTS motors work standalone with a remote. Add a Tahoma Hub if you want app or voice control.
Are rechargeable motors strong enough for big blinds?
They’re best for small to medium blinds. For large or heavy blinds, go with a 240V RTS motor for more power and no recharging.
